' Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2005 <br /> TOP FILLING STATION <br />' 101 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for 101 South Wilson <br />' Way (the site), Stockton, California The report documents second quarter 2005 procedures and <br /> results for a ground water monitoring event,progress of an interim remediation soil vapor extraction <br /> (SVE)recovery system and progress of an interim remediation ground water pump-and-treat(P&T) <br />' system The objectives of the site activities were to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> concentrations in ground water,to assess ground water flow direction and gradient, and to monitor <br />' the progress and effectiveness of SVE and P&T remediation at the site The site setting is illustrated <br /> on Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board(RWQCB)- Central Valley Region for investigation of underground storage <br /> tank (UST) sites A summary of previous investigations at the site was previously included in <br />' Appendix A of Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2005, dated 02 June 2005 Ground water <br /> monitoring data acquired to date is included in the tables of this report <br /> Previous soil characteristics data obtained by a CPT investigation enabled AGE to define four <br /> informal hydrogeologic units (Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2000, dated 31 July 2000) The <br /> informal hydrogeologic units were defined as Hydrologic Unit 1 (30 to 55 feet bsg), Hydrologic <br /> Unit 2(55 to 65 feet bsg),Hydrologic Unit 3 (65 to 85 feet bsg)and Hydrologic Unit 4(85 to at least <br /> 100 feet bsg) <br /> The following is a brief summary of ground water monitoring, SVE and P&T remediation activities <br /> performed at the site during the second quarter 2005 <br />' • Between 08 March 2005 and 03 June 2005 - Continued P&T interim ground water <br /> remediation utilizing on-site wells EW-1 and EW-2, discharged approximately 148,180 <br /> gallons of treated ground water into the City of Stockton sanitary sewer system <br /> • Between 08 March and 12 April 2005 - Continued SVE interim remediation utilizing SVE <br /> wells VW-1 (A-B), VW-2A and VW-3A, extracted a total of approximately 752 pounds of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons from the subsurface <br /> • Between 12 April and 22 June 2005, SVE interim remediation operations at the site were <br /> temporarily suspended for repairs, SVE interim remediation operations were re-started on <br /> 22 June 2005 <br /> • 05 April 2005-Monthly monitoring event performed on P&T and SVE remediation systems <br /> I • 03 May 2005 - Monthly monitoring event performed on P&T remediation system <br /> i Advanced GeoEnvirouweulal,Inc <br /> I <br />
