' 12 July 2006
i AGE-NC Project No 95-0130
• The lateral and vertical extent of the dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon plume Is not known
' toward the northwest, northeast, east and southeast of the area bound by wells MW-1 through
MW-7 (Figures 5 through 8)
' Based on SVE remediation data collected between 07 December 2005 and 14 March 2006, AGE
concludes
' • Analytical results of SVE Inlet vapor concentrations ranged between 1,300 µg11 and 2,000
µg11, the average SVE Inlet vapor concentration was approximately 1,567 µg/l
' • An overall decline in hydrocarbon vapor concentrations was evident between the fourth
quarter 2005 and the first quarter 2006 monitoring events, benzene concentrations declined
I to non detect levels and toluene-ethylbenzene-xylene concentrations are approaching non
detect levels A plot of the Influent TPH-g concentrations versus time is Included in
Appendix G
• The average SVE inlet flow rate was approximately 90 cubic feet per minute, the average
differential pressure measurements were recorded at 2 90 Inches of water (Table 6)
lie • The volume of hydrocarbons extracted by the SVE system was calculated to be
approximately 188 gallons (equivalent to 1,178 pounds) of petroleum hydrocarbons
(Appendix I) between the 07 December 2005 and the 14 March 2006 monitoring periods
(Table 7)
• Since Initiation of the SVE system in August 2004, the total volume of petroleum
hydrocarbons extracted is estimated to be approximately 2,898 gallons (Table 7), while the
total mass is estimated at approximately 18,120 pounds of extracted petroleum hydrocarbons
The results of pump and treat ground water remediation between 06 December 2005 and 14 March
2006 are as follows
•
Between 06 December 2005 and 14 March 2006, approximately 312,935 gallons of
hydrocarbon-impacted ground water were extracted from wells EW-1, EW-2, VW-1C,
' VW-2A and VW-3A (Table 9)
• Dissolved TPH-g was detected from grab samples collected at the Influent end of the
treatment system at concentrations as high as 39,000 µg11, benzene concentrations as high
as 7,200 µg11 and MTBE concentrations as high as 1,600 µg11 Laboratory analysis of grab
water samples collected from the P&T effluent did not detect any constituents of concern
during the first quarter 2006 (Table 9)
IAdvanced GcoEnvirunmeulal,Inc
