1 Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2006 <br /> . TOP FILLING STATION <br />' 101 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for 101 South Wilson <br />' Way(the site),Stockton, California The report documents first quarter 2006 procedures and results <br /> for a ground water monitoring event,progress of an interim remediation soil vapor extraction(SVE) <br /> recovery system and progress of an interim remediation ground water pump-and-treat(P&T)system <br />' The objectives of the site activities were to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations <br /> in ground water,to assess ground water flow direction and gradient,and to monitor the progress and <br /> I effectiveness of SVE and P&T remediation at the site The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site <br /> structures and monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board(RWQCB)-Central Valley Region for investigation of underground storage <br /> tank (UST) sites A summary of previous investigations at the site was previously included in <br /> Appendix A of Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2005, dated 02 June 2005 Ground water <br /> monitoring data acquired to date is included in the tables of this report <br /> . Previous soil characteristics data obtained by a CPT investigation enabled AGE to define four <br /> informal hydrogeologic units (Quarterly Report-Second Quarter 2000, dated 31 July 2000) The <br /> informal hydrogeologic units were defined as Hydrologic Unit 1 (HU1 - 40 to 55 feet bsg), <br /> I Hydrologic Unit 2 (HU2 - 55 to 65 feet bsg), Hydrologic Unit 3 (HU3 - 65 to 85 feet bsg) and <br /> Hydrologic Unit 4 (HU4 - 85 to at least 100 feet bsg) <br /> The following is a brief summary of ground water monitoring, SVE and P&T remediation activities <br /> performed at the site during the first quarter 2006 <br /> • Between 06 December 2005 and 14 March 2006 - Continued P&T interim ground water <br /> remediation utilizing on-site wells EW-1,EW-2,VW-1C,VW-2A and VW-3A,discharged <br /> approximately 312,935 gallons of treated ground water into the City of Stockton sanitary <br /> Isewer system <br /> • Between 07 December 2005 and 14 March 2006 - Continued SVE interim remediation <br /> I utilizing SVE wells VW-1 (A-B), VW-213 and VW-3B, extracted a total of approximately <br /> 1,178 pounds of petroleum hydrocarbons from the subsurface <br /> I • 04 January 2006 - Monthly monitoring event performed on P&T and. SVE remediation <br /> systems <br /> • 07 February 2006 - Monthly monitoring event performed on P&T and SVE remediation <br /> Isystem <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
