lo <br /> Feasibility Studies and Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan <br /> TOP FILLING STATION <br />' 101 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this work plan for installation of one ground <br /> water extraction well,one soil vapor extraction(SVE)well,one to-situ air sparge(IAS)well and six <br /> ground water monitoring wells at 101 South Wilson Way, Stockton,California(the site) Following <br />' well installations, AGE will perform feasibility pilot studies for soil and ground water corrective <br /> action including performance of a 24-hour ground water aquifer pumping test, performance of an <br /> 8-hour SVE pilot test, performance of a 48-hour IAS pilot test and performance of an 8-hour <br />' combined SVE/IAS pilot test The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 A plan of the site is <br /> illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' The proposed scope of work is in accordance with a letter directive from the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD), dated 17 January 2002 (Appendix A) As part of a <br /> Corrective Action Pian (CAP) for the site, performance of pilot tests are necessary to evaluate <br />' potential remediation options for soil and groundwater at the site Upon completion of the feasibility <br /> studies, a Problem Assessment Report (PAR) and a revised Remedial Action Plan (RAP) will be <br /> prepared <br />' • This work plan is prepared in accordance with California Regional Water Quality Control Board - <br /> Central Valley Region (RWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tanks <br />' (UST) sites <br />' 2.0 BACKGROUND <br />' The site is located at 101 South Wilson Way, on the southwest corner of the intersection of <br /> Wilson Way and Market Street The site is located in an area of low topographic relief at an <br /> elevation between 15 and 20 feet above mean sea level in the City of Stockton, San Joaquin <br />' County, California The site is within the southeast quarter of Section 20, Township 1 North, <br /> Range 6 East,Mount Diablo Base and Meridian(Stockton West Quadrangle,7 5-Minute USGS <br /> Topographic Series, 1968, photo revised 1987) <br /> 1 <br /> 21 SITE DESCRIPTION <br />' The Top Filling Station was a full service gasoline dispensing facility circa 1926 to 1998 One <br /> 550-gallon UST and two 4,000-gallon USTs, dispensers and product piping were removed from the <br />' east section of the site in September 1998 It is AGE's understanding that two USTs were previously <br /> removed from the southeast section of the site in December 1988 The site is currently occupied <br /> • by two building structures, but has been inactive since September 1998 <br />' Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc <br /> I <br />
