SECOR <br /> International Incorporated <br /> September 25, 2002 <br /> Project 77CH 43580 00 0203 <br /> nO Maya <br /> Mr Jeffery Wong <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division SEP 2 7 2002 <br /> 304 East Weber Street, 3rd Floor ENVIRONMENT HEALTH <br /> Stockton, California 95202 PERMIT/SE=RVICES <br /> Re Site Assessment Report <br /> Chevron Station 9-9840 <br /> 4344 Waterloo Road <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Wong <br /> SECOR International Incorporated (SECOR), on behalf of Chevron Products Company <br /> (Chevron), has prepared this report to document the results of assessment activities at <br /> the above-referenced site The site assessment activities consisted of the drilling and <br /> iinstallation of three onsite and one offsite groundwater monitoring wells The purpose <br /> of this assessment was to further delineate the lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> in groundwater beneath the site <br /> SITE BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS INVESTIGATIONS <br /> The site is an operating Chevron service station located at 4344 Waterloo Road, near <br /> Highway 99 in Stockton, California (Figure 1) Current station features include three <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs) in a common excavation, a station building, six <br /> product dispensers under a common canopy, and a car wash (Figure 2) The site is <br /> located in a light commercial area of Stockton in a relatively flat lying area A <br /> summary of previous investigations pertinent to the assessment is included in <br /> Attachment A <br /> ASSESSMENT ACTIVITIES AND FINDINGS <br /> On April 10 through 12, 2002, a SECOR representative supervised Watermark Drilling <br /> Incorporated (Watermark) of Woodland, California, as they advanced four soil borings <br /> to approximately 75 feet below ground surface (bgs) using 8-inch hollow stem augers at <br /> the locations shown on Figure 2 Soil samples were collected at five-foot intervals for <br /> Iogging and/or chemical analysis Upon completion of drilling, a 2-inch diameter <br /> 3017 Kilgore Road, Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 916 861 0400 916 861 0430 Fa.% www secor com <br />
