Former Beacon Statton No 12419 Apnl 12 2005 1 Stockton California _ Groundwater Monitonn& Report The samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), the volatile aromatic compounds benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), the fuel oxygenates methyl-t-butyl ether (MTBE), ditsopropyl ether (D1PE), ethyl-t-butyl ether (ETBE), tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME), tert-butanol (TBA), methanol, ethanol and the lead scavenger compounds 1,2-dichloroethane (DCA) and 1,2-dibromo ethane (EDB) by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 8260B Groundwater Monitoring Results Depth-to-groundwater measurements were subtracted from the surveyed TOC elevations to calculate groundwater elevations Groundwater elevation data were used to construct the groundwater elevation contour map shown on Figure 2 The data indicate groundwater in the underground storage tank area flowed roughly northwestward under a gradient of approximately 0 003 Groundwater analytical results are summarized In Table 1 Benzene concentration data from this sampling event were used to construct the benzene isoconcentration map shown on Figure 3 The analytical report is contained in Attachment C GeoTracker Electronic Data Deliverables The analytical electronic data deliverable (EDD) was prepared and uploaded by Klff The groundwater well measurement file EDD (GEO_WELL) for this quarterly monitoring event • was prepared and uploaded by Horizon The GEO_WELL file upload confirmation sheet is contained in Attachment E - --- --Recommendations— -- -- -- --- -- -- -- ---IilstallatOn of-the proposed soil-vaporextraction sysiem (VES) piping and equipment ---compound was-completed during-third quarter=2004-under-San-Joaquin-Valley-Air Pollution---- Control District (APCD) Authority to Construct Permit N-4910-1-0 Start up of the remediation system was attempted during fourth quarter 2004 and first quarter 2005 but system problems prevented regular operation It is expected that final preparations for regular operations and issuance of the APCD Permit to Operate will occur in April 2005 Report Distribution We recommend a copy of this report be forwarded to Mr Michael Infurna Jr , Senior R E H S San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor P O Box 388 Stockton, California 95201-0388 4 19grnr Q 105 doe Project No 1419 48 2 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC.
