Former Beacon Station No 12419 March 18,2002 <br /> Stockton California Problem Assessment Re ork/Corrective Action Plan <br /> . samples collected from soil boring SB-6 at 88 feet bsg No gasoline hydrocarbons were <br /> reported in soil samples from the other soil borings <br /> Quarterly groundwater monitoring has been performed at the site since 1994 Tabulated <br /> historical groundwater monitoring data from 1994 to 1998 are contained in Appendix A <br /> Groundwater monitoring data from 1998 to November 2001 are summarized in Table 1 <br /> 5.0 SENSITIVE RECEPTOR SURVEY AND WELL SEARCH <br /> Horizon conducted a sensitive receptor survey for the area within a 2000-foot radius of the <br /> site The sensitive receptor survey included a water well search and identification of natural <br /> surface water bodies in the survey area Fidelity National Information Solutions (Fidelity) <br /> was contracted to perform a well search within one-half mile of the site Authorization to <br /> inspect California Department of Water Resources (DWR) Water Well Drillers Reports was <br /> obtained from San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) The Water <br /> Well Report is contained in Appendix B of this report and includes a map showing the <br /> position of the wells relative to the site <br /> No naturally occurring surface waters were identified within 2000 feet of the site <br /> Information obtained from the DWR, as summarized in Table 2, indicate six water wells <br /> were located within a 2,000-foot radius of the site Two wells were tentatively identified as <br /> domestic, one as industrial and three as municipal The locations of the wells are estimated <br /> from to be approximately 1580 to 2000 feet from the site <br /> Three California Water Service (CWS) municipal supply wells (map ID numbers 3, 5 and 6) <br /> are located 1780 to 2000 feet from the site The CWS supplies drinking water to the <br /> sensitive receptor survey area The municipal supply wells were drilled to 265 to 585 feet <br /> bsg and are screened below 144 feet bsg According to the CWS, well 415 (map ID #3) is <br /> iinactive because of high nitrate concentrations <br /> 419PARCAP3-02 doc 5 <br /> ProjectNo 141923 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC. <br />
