L Former Beacon Station No 419 October 12, 1998 <br /> Stockton California Groundwater Monitonna Repo <br /> s <br /> Results <br /> Water-level data collected by Doulos on September 8, 1998 was used to construct the <br /> Groundwater Contour Map (Figure 2) The average depth-to-water for all the wells was <br /> approximately 25 to 27 feet below sea level Water levels have dropped an average of <br /> approximately 4 5 feet since June 1998 The flow direction is generally toward the south <br /> (ranges from southwest to southeast), with an average magnitude of 0 0013 foot/foot, and is <br /> graphically represented as a slight mounding beneath the tank pit and dispenser islands at the <br /> site <br /> Data collected from this sampling event was used to construct a Benzene lsoconcentration <br /> Map (Figure 3) Detectable concentrations of benzene were reported in all the water samples <br /> collected, with the exception of MW-2, which showed no detectable concentration above <br /> laboratory detection limits Dissolved benzene concentrations have increased in wells MW- <br /> 1, MW-3, MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 since the June 1998 sampling event <br /> No detectable concentrations of MtBE were reported in water samples collected during this <br /> sampling event No detectable concentrations of other fuel oxygenates were reported in <br /> water samples collected during this sampling event, except for low concentrations of tert <br /> butanol in wells MW-I and MW-2 at 17 ppb and 24 ppb, respectively <br /> Report Distribution <br /> We recommend a copy of this report be forwarded to <br /> Mr Michael J Infurna <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Mr Gordon Boggs <br /> CRWQCB - Central Valley Region <br /> 3443 Routier Road, Suite A <br /> Sacramento, California 95827-3098 <br /> 49 <br /> 98gmrsr q3 <br /> Job No 14t941 2 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC. <br />
