HEALTH <br /> SERVICE STATION NO . 41.9 PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> ADDRESS 2350 Waterloo Road, CA <br /> COUNTY San Joaquin <br /> CONTACT PERSON Randall K Stephenson TEL NO 209-583-3324 <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> During October, 1993, three single-wall underground storage tanks were removed from <br /> the site and replaced with a complete double-wall UST system Soil samples were <br /> collected from the tank area and beneath the dispensers Over excavation, to a <br /> maximum depth of 30 feet, was conducted in the tank area to remove soil containing <br /> elevated levels of petroleum hydrocarbons Subsequent sampling and analysis indicate <br /> that none detect to elevated levels of gasoline hydrocarbons remained in the soil <br /> beneath the UST area The soil samples collected from the island areas were none <br /> detect for gasoline hydrocarbons <br /> In July, 1994, three on-site monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3) were installed <br /> Analytical data for the initial water samples collected from the wells indicate that <br /> ground water was impacted with gasoline hydrocarbons Quarterly monitoring of the <br /> wells was initiated in October, 1994. <br /> SUMMARY OF THIS QUARTER'S ACTIVITIES: <br /> Ground-water sampling of all the wells was conducted by Doulos Environmental on <br /> April 12, 1995 <br /> RESULT OF QUARTERLY MONITORING: <br /> Ground-water elevations measured in the wells have increased an average of 5 feet <br /> since the last sampling event Analytical results of the water samples continue to <br /> indicate that dissolved concentrations of gasoline hydrocarbons remain present in the <br /> wells <br /> i <br /> 1ECO <br /> I <br /> A Member of the Ultramar Group of Companies #1 Quairty and Service <br /> unrart<iar <br />
