The initial date of waste accumulation shall be clearly marked and visible for inspection <br /> on each container used for satellite accumulation of hazardous waste. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> One 55 gallon container of used oil metal filters did not have an initial start date marked. The initial date of waste <br /> accumulation shall be clearly marked and visible for inspection on each container used for satellite accumulation of <br /> hazardous waste. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> One 55 gallon container of used oil metal filters contained approximately 6 used oil paper filters mixed in it.Waste <br /> streams can not be commingled,they must be separated. Unless all shipped out as hazardous waste. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Routine hazardous waste inspection performed on 3-5-19. <br /> Inspector provided: return to compliance certification <br /> Waste streams observed: used oil, used absorbent, metal shavings, used metal and paper oil filters, parts <br /> washer, antifreeze, aerosol cans, antifreeze, lead acid batteries, laundered rags. <br /> Note: Failure to minimize release around brake router lathe, metal shavings observed around the area. Failure <br /> to minimize release in the oil filter crushing machine area observed with oil release on the ground and on <br /> containers.
