To schedule an <br /> appointment, please call (209)468-3420. <br /> Documents provided during inspection: Return to compliance certification, free cupa classes flier. <br /> Waste streams found: Used oil, waste antifreeze, waste diesel, used metal oil filters, used paper oil filters, oily <br /> absorbent, parts washer waste, universal waste batteries. <br /> Note: The following items were corrected on site. <br /> Item 1: OBSERVATION: The facility could not demonstrate that universal waste (UW) has been stored on site <br /> for no longer than one year. The following UW was stored on-site: <br /> -Two 5 gallon buckets with universal waste batteries observed with start date of 2/18. Operator corrected on site <br /> providing invoice for the pick-up universal waste batteries. He stated that he failed to change start date. Start <br /> date changed to 3/18. <br /> Note: Parts manager states that universal waste batteries are all consolidated at Toyota town 2150 E. Hammer <br /> Ln. Stockton, CA 95210 before being picked up for disposal. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> (a)A universal waste handler shall accumulate universal waste for no longer than one year from the date the <br /> universal waste was generated, or was received from another universal waste handler. <br /> (b)A universal waste handler shall be able to demonstrate the length of time that the universal waste has been <br /> accumulated from the date it became a waste or was received. The universal waste handler may make this <br /> demonstration by: <br /> (1) Placing the universal waste in a container and marking or labeling the container with the earliest date that <br /> any universal waste in the container became a waste or was received; <br /> (2) Marking or labeling the individual item of universal waste (e.g., each battery or thermostat)with the date it <br /> became a waste or was received; <br /> (3) Maintaining an inventory system onsite that identifies the date the universal waste being accumulated <br /> became a waste or was received; <br /> (4) Maintaining an inventory system onsite that identifies the earliest date that any universal waste in a group of <br /> items of universal waste or a group of containers of universal waste became a waste or was received; <br /> (5) Placing the universal waste in a specific accumulation area and marking or labeling the area to identify the <br /> earliest date that any universal waste in the area became a waste or was received; or <br /> (6)Any other method which clearly demonstrates the length of time that the universal waste has been <br /> accumulated from the date it became a waste or was received. <br /> FA0014458 PR0528542 SCO01 10/21/2019 <br /> EHD 22-02 Rev.9/20/2019 Page 7 of 8 Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br /> 1868 E.
