Favilla: <br /> This letter is to document that on behalf of Mr . Eric Sung of <br /> C & L Tracy Group L. P. , the discovery of hydrocarbon <br /> contamination on the subject property was verbally reported <br /> today to Captain Jeff Mason of the City of Tracy Fire <br /> Department . Captain Mason indicated that he would convey the <br /> verbal report to you. <br /> Subjective evidence suggesting the presence of hydrocarbon <br /> contamination was discovered by personnel from our firm <br /> during a routine soil investigation for a proposed <br /> residential development at the subject site . Attached for <br /> your information are copies of laboratory results of testing <br /> performed on a sample taken to confirm the presence of <br /> contamination . Results of additional laboratory testing will <br /> be conveyed to you after they are received. Also attached <br /> for your convenience is a copy of a portion of the site <br /> drilling permit, showing the location of the site and the <br /> borings in which contamination was noted. <br /> The owners of the property wish to cooperate fully and <br /> promptly with the appropriate regulatory agencies in <br /> delineating and remediating the contamination. They are <br /> presently retaining a consultant to prepare a work plan <br /> addressing the extent and nature of the contamination . <br /> Thank you for your attention to this matter .
