1 . 0 INTRODUCTION/PREVIOUS WORK
This report is being submitted in anticipation of a request
by the San Joaquin Local Health District for a site
investigation of potential soil and/or groundwater
contamination . The subject property is currently vacant
although it has been utilized for agricultural purposes in
the past (Figure 1 ) .
On April 14, 1989 , crude petroleum soil contamination was
noted during a subsurface investigation at the subject
property (Figure 2 ) . The contamination was discovered in
four soil borings at a depth of approximately 15 feet below
grade . The boring locations are noted in Figure 2, the
laboratory data sheets are included in Appendix I . Due to
the elevated hydrocarbon concentrations in the soil samples,
further investigation was deemed warranted .
2 . 0 TECHNICAL DATA
2 . 1 Name and address of site, tank owner and contact person :
Site Location : ?CPN 235-15-22
Tr :cy, CA
Tank Owner and Contact Person Mr . The constituents detected in the soil
samples appear to be derived from crude petroleum.
