1 . 0 INTRODUCTION/PREVIOUS WORK
This report is being submitted in anticipation of a request
by the San Joaquin Local Health District for a site
investigation of potential soil and/or groundwater
contamination. The subject property is currently vacant
although it has been utilized for agricultural purposes in
the past ( Figure 1 ) .
On April 4, 1989, crude petroleum soil contamination was
noted during a subsurface investigation at the subject
property conducted by Geo Resource Consultants, Inc. ( Figure
2 ) . The contamination was discovered in four soil borings
at a depth of approximately 15 feet below grade. The Geo
Resource boring locations are plotted as well as possible in
Figure 2 . The soil boring locations were poorly plotted by
Geo Resource Consultants, Inc. . The Geo Resource site map
and boring logs for the property are included in Appendix I .
Laboratory results for the samples are summarized in Table
1 . The laboratory data sheets are included in Appendix I .
Due to the elevated hydrocarbon concentrations in the soil
samples, further investigation was warranted.
. TECHNICAL DATA
2 . 1 Name and address of site, tank owner and contact person:
Site Location: APN 235-15-22
400 South Tracy Blvd.
Tracy, CA
Tank Owner and Contact Person Mr. Eric Sung
C & L Tracy Group Partnership
21060 Rainbow Drive
Cupertino, CA 95014
(408 ) 997-6056
2 . 2 Map showing site location relative to nearby landmarks:
The site location is shown on Figure 1 .
2 . 3 Layout of all underground ( u/g ) tanks and piping
systems, properly labeled for content:
The subject area is shown in Figure 2.
2 . 4 Table summarizing preliminary soil data:
Results of analyses for soil samples collected from the soil
borings at a depth of 15 feet are included in Table 1 and
Appendix I .
1
