The purpose of our services was to confirm that the well destruction was accomplished
in general conformance with the requirements of San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department.
The four monitoring wells were abandoned on October 22 and 25, 1999, by removing debris and
materials from the well casing by displacing them with compressed air; overdrilling the well casings
using hollow stem augers for the full well depth, and backfilling the resulting boring with neat
cement.
A San Joaquin County Environmental Health Inspector also conducted site visits and observed most
of the well abandonment. He appeared satisfied with the procedures and well abandonment. Based
on our observations, it is our opinion that the well destruction was accomplished in general
conformance with the requirements of San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
If you have any questions regarding the contents of this letter, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Very truly yours,
ENGEO INCORPORATED Reviewed by:
Casey Lee Jensen Duncan R.
