All facilities shall be equipped with an internal communication or alarm <br /> system, a device capable of calling outside emergency help, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment <br /> at all times. Immediately provide spill control equipment and maintain on site. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> The secondary containment for the two 55 gallon used oil drums had oil in the bottom of it. All facility <br /> communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination <br /> equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of <br /> emergency. Immediately begin this practice. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> One black metal 55 gallon drum of used paper filters was missing an accumulation start date. No disposal records <br /> for used paper filters were available during the inspection. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous <br /> waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 <br /> days. Since it cannot be determined how long the hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest. Submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD within 30 <br /> days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed without accumulation start date, hazardous properties <br /> and physical state. <br /> -One blue metal 55 gallon drum of used oil did not have a hazardous waste label.
