Evaluations will be provided regarding the vertical �{ and lateral extent of PPC migration in soil and the presence or absence of PPCs in groundwater. If the data is adequate, a PPC contamination countour map and cross section will be prepared and an estimate of the mass andvolume of contaminant will be provided. Finally, recommendations regarding the need for further site assessment and/or remedial action alternatives will be presented. r ; 5.0 SITE SAFETY PLAN The site safety plan for Twining personnel assigned to this project is presented in Appendix B. � 6.0 LIMITATIONS F + The proposed work is intended to be an intera dive process. Additional work may be required to more fully assess the extent of petroleum product migration in soil. The purpose of a geologic/h dro Bolo is study is to reasonably characterize existing site conditions based on the geology/hydrogeology of he area. In performing such a study, it is understood that a balance must be-struck between a reasonable inquiry into the site conditions and an exhaustive analysis of each conceivable environmental characteristic. Conditions of interest may exist at the site that cannot be identified by visual observation N; alone. Where subsurface exploratory work is performed, our professional opinions are based in part on interpretation of data from discrete sampling locations that may not represent actual conditions or unsampled locati ns. If conditions of interest are not w identified during performance of the work, such a finding should not be construed as a guarantee that such conditions do not exist at the site_ The proposed work scope assumes the site will be iccessible at the time work is performed. Twining shall not be responsible for damage to underground utilities or installations which are not accurately shown on site plans provided to Twining by the site owner before work P begins. Security of the site is the responsibility o the client. The professional services will be performed, the findings obtained, and the conclusions prepared in accordance with generally-accepted engineering principles and practices in San Joaquin County at the time the work is performed.
