READ THE JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS <br /> I. <br /> PROCEDURES: <br /> r-s <br /> 1. Be aware of Safety. Don appropriate.PPE,as prescribed by the DERS Health and Safety Plan <br /> discussed in this workplan. <br /> f2. Disassemble the sampler and place 3 decontam;nated 6-inch br ass or stainless steel liners into <br /> the sampler. Reassemble the split-spoon sampler. <br /> 1,G 3. Spe SOP 5200 for procedures on Hollow-Stem Auger Drilling. The following steps are <br /> performed at step 9 of SOP 5200. <br /> 4. Attach the split-barrel sampler to the center rods of the hollow-stem auger drill rig and lower <br /> the sampler to the bottom of the bore hole. <br /> 5. Attach the drill rig drive hammer to the center rods. <br /> G. Using a specified drop height,drive the sampler into the undisturbed soil immediately beneath <br /> I the bottom-most auger flight. Drive the sampler in 18 inches or until it no longer can be driven <br /> t in. Record the number of blows it takes to drive the sampler in every G inches. <br /> 7.
