The use of PVC or stainless slcel well casing and well scree[}willalso be based on engineering
requirements.
5. With the auger flights or steel casing still in the bore hale, bentonite crumbles or bentonite
pellets will be placed in the bottom of the bore hole to a depth of na less than one foot.
6. The auger flights or steel casing will then be raised slightly to allow tttc bentonite to n'OVC out
into the space once Occupied by the auger flights or steel rasing, and additional bentonite will
be added so that the final thickness of bentonite at the bottom of the bore hole is no less than
one foot.
A-4
