HE,"LP-I <br /> ATTENTION Mr Gregory P Fletcher <br /> Senior Coordinator - Environmental Affairs <br /> SUBJECT Quarterly Monitoring Report <br /> April - June 1992 <br /> Former Econo Gas Station <br /> 4325 East Washington Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Fletcher <br /> This report presents the status of the soil remediation system located at Conoco Inc's (Conoco) <br /> former Econo Gas Station,4325 East Washington Street,Stockton,California between April 3, 1992 <br /> and June 26, 1992 A Du Pont Environmental Remediation Services (DERS) technician visited the <br /> site on a weekly basis Typical activities that were performed during a visit included equipment <br /> inspection, instrument calibration, influent and effluent soil vent gas concentration measurements, <br /> and control system adjustments A hand-held organic vapor analyzer (OVA) was used by the <br /> technician to measure the vent gas hydrocarbon concentrations Monthly influent soil vent gas <br /> samples were collected for laboratory analyses DERS maintained a site visit sign-in log The log <br /> is available for inspection upon request Laboratory results and cham-of-custody forms are attached <br /> in Appendix A <br /> The soil remediation system consists of a series of vapor wells, a vacuum extraction blower, and a <br /> thermal incinerator The extraction rate of the soil remediation system is approximately 120 <br /> standard cubic feet per minute The operating efficiency (actual operating time versus the total <br /> time in the reporting period) of the system was 95 percent The system was down between May <br /> 26 and 28 and June 5 and 6, 1992 In each case the system may have shut down due to high winds, <br /> or power surges The system was checked and restarted each time when no mechanical deficiencies <br /> were noted <br /> Better Things for Better Living <br /> 05117 Rev 0 <br />
