CES <br /> A <br /> July - September 1992 C�$ <br /> Former Econo Gas Station <br /> 4325 East Washington Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Fletcher <br /> This report resents the status of the soil remediation system located at Conoco Inc's Conoco <br /> P P Y (Conoco) <br /> former Econo Gas Station, 4325 East Washington Street, Stockton, California between July 1992 <br /> and September 1992 A Du Pont Environmental Remediation Services (DERS) technician visited <br /> the site on a weekly basis Typical activities that were performed during a visit included equipment <br /> inspection, instrument calibration, influent and effluent soil vent gas concentration measurements, <br /> and control system adjustments A hand-held organic vapor analyzer (OVA) was used by the <br /> technician to measure the vent gas hydrocarbon concentrations Monthly influent soil vent gas <br /> samples were collected for laboratory analyses DERS maintained a site visit sign-in log The log <br /> is available for inspection upon request Laboratory results and cham-of-custody forms are attached <br /> in Appendix A <br /> The soil remediation system consists of a series of vapor wells, a vacuum extraction blower, and a <br /> thermal incinerator The extraction rate of the soil remediation system is approximately 105 <br /> standard cubic feet per minute The operating efficiency (actual operating time versus the total <br /> time in the reporting period) of the, system was 98 percent The system was down on August 24, <br /> September 4, and September 6, 1992 In each case the system was shut down due to preventive <br /> maintenance and testing for well optimization The system was checked and restarted each time <br /> when no mechanical deficiencies were noted <br /> Better Things For Better living <br /> 4511 12 Rev 0 <br />
