Approximate Depth to Groundwater 55 01 to 55 80 Measured Feet
Groundwater Gradient 0 007 ft/ft (Magnitudel
Groundwater Flow Direction North and Southerl Direction
' Discussion On November 6 2001, ATC Associates, Incorporated(ATC)personnel gauged 15 groundwater monitor wells (Figure 1 and
2) Depth to groundwater ranged between 55 01 (MW-6)to 55 80(MW-7)feet below ground surface(bgs) The direction of groundwater
flaw was to the north-northeast and southerly with a calculated hydraulic gradient of approximately 0 007 ft/ft(Figure 2) No measurable
phase-separated hydrocarbons(PSH)were recorded during this monitoring event Groundwater elevations and contours are illustrated on
' Figure 2 and groundwater monitor data is presented in Table
On November 6, 2001, ATC collected groundwater samples from IS monitoring wells ATC utilized the attached sampling procedures
described in Appendix A to collect groundwater samples from MW-1,MW-2,MW-3,MW-4,MW-5,MW-6,MW-7,MW-8,MW-9,MW-
10, MW-11, MW-12, VW-1, VW-2, and VW-3 Field logs are also included in Appendix A Groundwater samples collected were
analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline(TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylems(BTEX),fuel oxygenates
methyl tert-butyl ether(MTBE), di-isopropyl ether(DIPS), ethyl tert-butyl ether(ETBE), tert-amyl methyl ether(TAME), and tert-butyl
alcohol (TBA) by EPA Test Method 8260, and methanol and ethanol by EPA Test Method 8015B The highest TPHg, benzene, and
MTBE concentrations reported were 15,000, 4,100, and 340 micrograms per liter(µg/L), respectively The highest TPHg, benzene, and
MTBE concentrations were reported in MW-12 No methanol or ethanol concentrations were reported above the laboratory detection
limits of 1,000 pg/L in any of the 15 monitor wells TPHg, benzene, and MTBE concentrations are illustrated on Figure 2 and historic
groundwater analytical results are presented in Table 1 Analytical concentrations for fuel oxygenates and additives for this monitonng
event are presented in Table 2 Hydrographs of groundwater elevations and analytical data are attached in Appendix B and complete
laboratory analytical results and chain-of-custody documentation are attached in Appendix C
