BROWN AND <br /> C A L D W E L L 11 �, <br /> May 9, 1997 <br /> Mr Brian Cobb <br /> E-Z Serve Petroleum Marketing Company of California <br /> 2550 N Loop West, Suite 600 <br /> Houston, Texas 77292-2021 41-5172-01 <br /> Subject First Quarter 1997 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Former E-Z Serve Station#100966 <br /> 2537 Waterloo Road, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Cobb <br /> This letter report summarizes the first quarter groundwater monitoring activities conducted by <br /> Brown and Caldwell at 2537 Waterloo Road, Stockton, California (Site), on April 14, 1997 <br /> The work performed at the Site included collecting depth-to-water measurements, purging and <br /> sampling eight wells, and submitting the groundwater samples to an analytical laboratory for <br /> analysis Field work was performed following the procedures outlined in Attachment A <br /> Field and Analytical Methods <br /> Initially, depth-to-water and free product measurements were collected from eight wells by a <br /> Brown and Caldwell field technician using a water level probe The wells were then purged <br /> of a minimum of three well volumes using a submersible pump After purging, each <br /> monitoring well was sampled by the Brown and Caldwell field technician using a disposable <br /> bailer Samples were then transferred to appropriate laboratory-supplied containers, placed in <br /> a cooler containing crushed ice, and submitted under appropriate chain of custody to V O C <br /> Analytical Laboratories, Inc (V O C ) for analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHg) and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) following EPA <br /> Methods 8015 Modified and 8020, respectively V O C is located in Concord, California and <br /> is certified by the State of California Department of Health Services for analysis of hazardous <br /> materials Groundwater sample collection records and chain-of-custody documentation for <br /> this quarterly sampling event are included in Attachment A <br /> Enwronmental Engineering And Consulting Analytical Services <br /> PO Box 8045 W11 \t r CRF[h CA 94 96 1220 <br /> 3480 BLSKIRA ALEvLL PLFASINT HILL CA 94523 4342 <br /> E.1LRE1517215172-011QTRLYRP[11009WIST 1997 D�OC1 0) 9 31 9!]]d F a x (5]0) 9 3 7 9 0 2 6 <br /> L <br />
