Loop West, Suite 600 <br /> Houston, Texas 77292-2021 11-300305 <br /> Subject- First Quarter 1996 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Former E-Z Serve Station #100966 <br /> 2537 Waterloo Road, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr. Cobb: <br /> This letter report summarizes the first quarter groundwater monitoring activities conducted by <br /> Brown and Caldwell at 2537 Waterloo Road, Stockton California (Site), on February 21, 1996. <br /> The work performed at the Site included collecting depth-to-water measurements, purging and <br /> sampling eight wells, and submitting the groundwater samples to an analytical laboratory for <br /> �) analysis. Field work was performed following the procedures outlined in Attachment A. <br /> Field and Analytical Methods <br /> Initially, depth-to-water and free product measurements were collected from the eight wells by <br /> a Brown and Caldwell field technician using an oil-water interface probe. The wells were then <br /> purged of a minimum of three well volumes, or until evacuated, using a submersible pump <br /> After purging, each monitoring well was sampled by the Brown and Caldwell field technician <br /> using a disposable bailer Samples were then transferred to appropriate laboratory-supphed <br /> containers, placed in a cooler containing crushed ice, and submitted under appropriate chain of <br /> custody to CKY Incorporated (CKY) for analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHg) and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) following EPA Methods <br /> 8015 Modified and 8020, respectively CKY is located in Torrance, California and is certified <br /> by the State of California Department of Health Services for analysis of hazardous materials <br /> Groundwater sample collection records and chain-of-custody documentation for this quarterly <br /> sampling event are included in Attachment A. <br /> ae\LJMj 671MYRPnjoo9 jST-1996wPs <br /> Environmental Engineering And Consulting Analytical Services <br /> P Q BO\ 8043 WNP LT CREED.
