Mr. Brian Cobb
July 27, 1995
Page 2
Summary of Findings
Field data collected during the sampling event indicate groundwater elevations have increased
significantly relative to last quarter. Groundwater was identified as flowing to the southeast
and southwest, under average gradients ranging between approximately 0 001 and 0.01 feet
per foot. Analytical Iaboratory results show a decrease in petroleum hydrocarbon constituents
in the samples collected from wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, MW-5 and MW-8; all
other wells showed no significant change in concentration. A summary of the depth-to-water
measurements, calculated groundwater elevations, and analytical results are included in
Table 1. A groundwater contour map, identifying the primary groundwater flow directions
on June 20, 1995 and the analytical results, is included as Figure 1. Field notes, the chain-of-
custody form and the laboratory data sheets are included in Attachment A.
If you have any question regarding the information presented herein, please contact one of
us at your earliest convenience.
t
Sincerely,
BROWN AND CALDWELL
Todd Miller
Projectanag
Jay cas Y
California Registered Geologist No. 4301
TM/PC/lkg
Attachments '
cc: Mr. John Reeves, Attorney at Law -
Ms. Linda Turkatte, San Joaquin County Public Health Services Department
r
01/IVVaUJMIX7qrRLYRMIW9MIST 19n W"
i
HPIMWM
Brown and Caldwell ,
Consultants -
