r <br /> r <br /> CHAPTER 1 <br /> r � - <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> r <br /> This report documents the recent remedial investigation completed and present Brown <br /> and Caldwell's Corrective Action Plan for E-Z Serve Petroleum Marketing Company of <br /> California's (E-Z Serve) Former Station #100966, located at 2537 Waterloo Road, Stockton, <br /> California (Site) The field work was conducted by Brown and Caldwell between <br /> ' December 30, 1994 and March 2, 1995. The work was completed following the terms and <br /> conditions of the July 12, 1994 Master Service Agreement between E-Z Serve and Brown and <br /> Caldwell, and was approved by E-Z Serve as part of Work Order Numbers 2 and 3, dated <br /> August 24, 1994, and December 28, 1994, respectively. ' <br /> This report describes site-specific background information; summarizes the results of <br /> ' previous soil and groundwater investigations, discusses the work completed by Brown and <br /> Caldwell between December 30, 1994, and March 2, 1995, presents the results of the air <br /> spargmg/soil vapor extraction pilot test, reviews applicable alternatives for remediating soil <br /> ' and groundwater in the vicinity of the Site, and presents Brown and Caldwell's <br /> recommendations for future investigation and remediation work at the Site <br /> Site Description and Use <br /> The Site is located in the southeast quarter of Township 2 North, Range 6 East of the <br /> Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, at the northwest corner of Waterloo Road and Auto <br /> Avenue, in Stockton, California (Figure 1-1) The Site was operated as a gasoline station and <br /> convenience store until March 1990, when four underground storage tanks and associated <br /> ` piping were removed from the Site The Site has been operated as a convenience store since <br /> that time. <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> Use or disclosure of data contained on this sheet is subject to the restriction specified at the beginning of this <br /> document <br /> M1195U1 RMRM1WA10DX6<HAR!WPS <br /> QM&PSNo <br />
