Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report
Former E-Z Serve Location 100966
2537 Waterloo Road
Stockton,California
Delta Project No RPMSO-466
Page 4
30 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
3.1 Conclusions
Groundwater table elevation data were used to plot the groundwater table elevation on September 20,
2005 presented on Figure 4 — Groundwater Elevation Map Groundwater flowed towards the south-
southeast at a gradient of approximately 0 001 on September 20, 2005 Monitoring wells MW-I through
MW-8 are twenty to thirty feet deeper than monitoring wells MW-9 through MW-17, VW-1 and VW-2,
and were not used for contouring
Reported analytical data for the groundwater samples collected on September 20, 2005 indicate that
benzene concentrations have remained below laboratory reporting limits (BRL) in all of the deeper
monitoring wells, and in eight of the shallow wells Reported MTBE concentrations remained constant
in the deep well located in the UST location and decreased in the equivalent shallow well MTBE
concentrations increased in seven of the shallow wells and decreased in two of the shallow wells, all
located down-gradient from the UST's Of the eight deep wells, three had concentrations of TPHg above
the laboratory reporting limit while four remained below the laboratory reporting limit All of the shallow
. wells sampled contained reportable levels of TPHg
32 Recommendations
Based on the above conclusions, Delta recommends continued quarterly groundwater monitoring and
sampling Delta installed the wells on November 30, 2005, and plans to present the results in a report in
December 2005
•
K MorkinglProlect Hes1100966 Stockton 2537 Waterloo Road1GWM13QO51100966 3rdO5QMR doc
