November 12,1993
File No. 420-93-
Brian Cobb
- E-Z Serve Management Company
2550 N.Loop West,Ste.600 -
Houston,TX 77292
_
Project: _ E-Z Serve Location#1100966;2537 Waterloo Road, Stockton,CA
Dear Mr.Cobb:
In accordance with your request, quarterly groundwater sampling was conducted at the above
' s subject site on September 15,.1993._This quarterly work package includes a site data summary.. _
table, site groundwater gradient map (FIGURE"1),:laborratory analyses, .-r ionitoring well- i
sampling record, and sampling and purging protocol (ATTACHED). Our field and laboratory.
analyses were conducted in accordance with approved ASTM and EPA standards.
The site wells contained no measurable free product, although water from well MW-1 emitted ✓ _
petroleum odor. Petroleum constituents were detected in each of the monitoring well samples
yxcept for MW-1,generally at Iower levels than, measuced last quar,er_(ju]y 1993)
Groundwater depths at the!site have increased relative'to last_quarter, indicating that the f
r groundwater table is lower.. . -site groundwater gradient was determined by;calcu sting the
groui:iwater elevation in each well (SUMMARY TABLE) and contouring the elevation data., -
_. (FIGURE 1). _-The site groundwater-gradient`currently flows primarily toward the south -
southeast at a magnitude of 0.0014 to 0.0024 foot per foot. This current groundwater gradient is
higher in magnitude than last quart6es gradient, and indicates`6.5hift in flow direction from
the southwest to the southeast.
4 If you have any questions about these results;plea contact`our office.
Sincerely,
ASSOCIATED SOILS ANALYSIS,INC = fes81py e _ -
_ ...
V
`Gary J.
