The <br /> Y <br />' selected samples will be analyzed in the laboratory for BTEX, using EPA approved methods, and <br /> TPHg by modified LUFT Guideline methodologies Detection limits suitable for the soil tests <br /> requested and concentrations present will be stated on the laboratory reports Copies of the <br /> laboratory reports will be included in our final report. <br /> Ground-water samples will be collected from the monitoring wells installed at the site These <br /> samples will be submitted for laboratory analysis for BTEX and TPH using approved EPA methods. <br /> Detection limits suitable for the water tests requested and concentrations present will be stated on <br /> the laboratory reports Copies of the laboratory reports will be included in our final report <br /> 5.4 Measurement of Ground-Water Gradient <br /> i <br /> A survey of the well-head elevations (measured to the nearest 0 01 foot) of the new and existing <br /> wells with respect to mean sea level will be conducted The survey data and ground-water <br />' measurements from each well will be used to determine the ground-water gradient and direction <br /> of local ground-water flow Elevation differences between the wells will be combined with <br /> measurements of the depths to static water in the respective wells to calculate the differences in <br /> water level The calculations will be used to prepare a ground-water potentiometric surface map <br /> for the vicinity of the site <br /> 5.5 Report Preparation <br /> A report prepared by the consultant summarizing the soil conditions encountered during the <br /> drilling, field and laboratory procedures, well construction details, analytical results, direction of <br /> ground-water flow and gradient, and recommendations for further work (if needed) will be <br /> presented to Mr M L Ehrlich of Wild, Carter, Tipton, & Oliver and to Mr Glenn Dembroff of <br /> Ultramar approximately 45 days after field work is completed After review, the report will be <br /> forwarded to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> I <br /> i <br /> SSB ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS INC <br />
