s <br /> aramar� Policy: AUS— 006 <br /> Emergency Response Policy <br /> Department: Safety Revision Date:8/10/18 <br /> Issued 09/15/2014 <br /> Issued By: Director of Safety & Risk Control <br /> INTRODUCTION: <br /> The purpose of this Emergency Response Policy is to minimize hazards to human health and the <br /> environment associated with emergency related events. This document provides the procedures and <br /> contacts required to ensure rapid response in the event of fire, earthquake, power outages, and <br /> unplanned release of hazardous chemicals, bomb threat, or other emergency that requires evacuation. <br /> Each Aramark Uniform Services facility will have an up to date Emergency Response Program including <br /> depots and satellites. The Emergency Response Program updated annually or if changes made to <br /> evacuation procedures. The Evacuation Maps posted in each work area. <br /> The Emergency Response Program must be in writing, kept in the workplace, and available to employees <br /> for review. <br /> All employees trained during new hire orientation and at least annually. One evacuation (fire) drill must <br /> be performed annually and one natural emergency(shelter-in-place) drill. Drills shall be unannounced to <br /> confirm that all employees understand the evacuation procedures. <br /> The Emergency Response Program shall be reviewed with employees when: <br /> (1) The Program is developed or the employee assigned initially to a job. <br /> (2) The employee's responsibilities under the Program change. <br /> (3) The Program is changed. <br /> The Market Center Business Continuity Plan shall be consulted for emergencies affecting business <br /> operations. <br /> This Plan is not intended to prohibit a course of action whereby good judgment dictates appropriate <br /> action for the circumstances. <br /> FACILITY PROFILE: <br /> MC#: <br /> Location: k- <br /> Region: <br /> Last updated: <br /> by Whom: �° d <br />
