Obtain an Insignia from the State Housing and Community Development. Their phone <br /> number is 916-255-2501. <br /> 2. Entrance doors to food preparation area and service openings shall be self-closing. <br /> (CRFC Section 114303) <br /> 3. Food service openings: <br /> a. Shall be no more than 216 square inches and no less than 18 inches apart. <br /> b. Shall be covered with solid material or screen. If screen is used it must be at least <br /> 16-mesh per inch.(CRFC Section 114259.2) <br /> 4. Floors shall be constructed of approved materials and shall be impervious, smooth, <br /> easily cleanable, and provide employee safety from slipping. The floor/wall juncture <br /> shall be coved with a minimum 3/8 inch radius and the floor surface shall extend up the <br /> wall at least four inches. (Vinyl rubber top-set base is not acceptable material). <br /> Equipment shall be sealed to the floor or raised 6 inches off the floor by means of <br /> easily cleanable legs or feet. (CRFC Section 114301) Provide sample of mateial and <br /> specifiaction sheets and installation drawings. <br /> 5. Walls and ceilings shall be constructed so surfaces are impervious, smooth and <br /> cleanable. (CRFC Section 114301) <br /> 6. The handwashing and food preparation sinks shall be separated from the warewashing <br /> sink or food preparation / storage areas by a metal splash guard, if separation is less <br /> than twenty-four (24) inches. Splash guard shall be at least six (6) inches in height <br /> from back edge to front edge [CRFC §113953]. <br /> 1868 E.
