Time In: 12-30 pm <br /> Time Out: 1:30 om <br /> Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br /> Name of Facility: PLYMOUTH BAY APARTMENTS Date: 07/30/2018 <br /> Address: 6723 PLYMOUTH RD, STOCKTON 95207 <br /> Owner/Operator: JOHNSON, KEN &CAROL Telephone: (209)479-4191 <br /> Program Element: 3611 -PUBLIC POOL/SPA-PRIMARY <br /> Inspection Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION -Operating Permit <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s)116043, 116040,& <br /> 116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Could not turn on light, breaker did not trip. Replace the pool light with a functioning one within one <br /> month. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Free chlorine in the pool is measured at 1.2 ppm this is below the minimum concentration allowed. <br /> Operator must maintain a chlorine concentration between 2.0 and 10.0. Corrected on site by adding liquid chlorine, <br /> concentration is now 3.0. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #12 pH Level <br /> OBSERVATIONS:pH is below 7.0. pH should be between 7.2 and 7.8. Soda ash was mixed in to the pool water, pH is now <br /> 7.2 corrected on site. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Debris Accumulating in the bottom of the pool. Clean today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br /> in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides,and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br /> and free of slime and algae.
