Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Elena Manzo at (209) 468-95377 to arrange the following inspection <br /> appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br /> a. Removal of tank and any applicable piping <br /> b. Verification that tank is cleaned to Title 22 CCR 67383.3(e)(2) standards <br /> c. Witness soil and/or water sampling (below removed tank, below removed piping, <br /> and from backfill/stockaile) <br /> d. Verification of Tank ID number marked on the UST <br /> 4. If the removed backfill material and soil is found to be contaminated it must be disposed <br /> of at an approved disposal location. Appropriate clean backfill must be provided. <br /> Treatment of soil onsite can only be performed under a hazardous waste treatment <br /> permit. A work plan and fees must be submitted to the EHD Site Mitigation Unit and the <br /> work plan must be approved before initiating any assessment or remediation activities. <br />
