SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL <br /> FOR A <br /> SOIL REMEDIATION WORKPLAN <br /> AT <br /> 444 S. WILSON WAY <br /> The County of San Joaquin invites proposals (consisting of two <br /> phases) for the preparation of: I . A SOILS REMEDIATION WORKPLAN <br /> and II . A SET OF CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS for the removal of the <br /> contaminate soil at the site of two waste oil tanks at the San <br /> Joaquin County Motor Pool , 444 S. Wilson Way, Stockton, <br /> California. <br /> The County has been directed by the San Joaquin Local Health <br /> District to conduct additional excavation in both lateral and <br /> vertical directions and perform additional soil sampling to <br /> demonstrate that existing contamination can be removed and <br /> properly remediated. Prior to any further excavation or removal <br /> the County must prepare and submit a workplan to the Local Health <br /> District for their review and approval . <br /> I GENERAL INFORMATION: <br /> 1 . Sealed proposals will be received at the Offices of the <br /> Department of General Services, San Joaquin County, 222 <br /> E.Weber Ave. , Room 675, Stockton, CA 95202 until 4:OOPM <br /> November , 1988 and will be opened and receipt <br /> acknowledged at that time. <br /> 2. Proposals shall be addressed as follows: <br /> "Proposal for Soils Remediation" <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> Department of General Services <br /> 222 E. Weber Ave. , Room 675 <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Hand Delivered Proposals must be delivered directly to: <br /> The Office of General Services, Room 675 <br /> 222 E. Weber Ave <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> 3. Any questions regarding this proposal should be <br /> directed to James Leonard Director of General Services <br /> at (209) 944-3675. <br /> II EVALUATION OF PROPOSALS: <br /> 1 . The County reserves the right to select the proposal <br /> best suited to its needs. The County shall have the <br /> right to reject and all proposals and to waive any <br /> informalities. The decision of the County shall be <br /> final and conclusive. The County shall not pay any <br /> costs incurred in the preparation of the proposal for <br /> this request.
