i
RESPONSE TO COMMENT 10:
The extraction tube illustrated on Detail 2 of the SAWP was used to drain waste oil from a
pit located in the tire shop, according to information received from Mr. Larry Silva of the
County Government Buildings Division.
Kleinfelder hopes that the above responses adequately addresses SJLHD comments. It
should be noted that the SAWP is proposed because Kleinfelder feels that insufficient
assessment data is currently available to serve as a basis for a remediation work plan. The
SAWP will serve as an evaluation tool for development of an appropriate and cost effective
remedial work plan.
We wish to proceed with implementation of the SAWP as soon as possible, therefore, your
timely review will be appreciated. If you have any questions or need any additional
information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
KLEINFELDER, INC.
Mark Urq art, P.E.
Project Engineer
MU:klw:slf:cc
cc: Mr. Larry Silva, San Joaquin County Government Buildings
I
192-89-1077 5
KLEINFELDER 9795 Business Park Drive, Suite C, Sacramento, CA 95827 (916) 366-1701
