Concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were not detected <br /> in samples collected at depth from a boring (B-7)drilled adjacent to the former 500-gallon <br /> underground storage tank (UST). Concentrations of chro;-uum and zinc from the sample <br /> collected from ebottom of ba , with the <br /> background colleed from B18drilled pproxmateJ 45 feet to the northeast. <br /> Based on the analytical results, Klf�infelder does not recommend further soil assessment.. <br /> Kleinfelder field personnel noted that the 1000-gallon US'r excavation has not been <br /> backfilled to grade. This should be:done as a safety precaution and to reduce surfac �water <br /> infall event. The Department of General Services should seek approval <br /> by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> (SJCEHD) to properly backfill and cap both UST sites.
