In KLEINFELDER <br /> File No 20-1008-52 A03 <br /> July 6, 1994 <br /> 5 RESULTS <br /> 5.1 ANALYTICAL RESULTS <br /> Eight (8) soil samples were submitted under chain-of-custody procedures to a State of <br /> California certified laboratory to provide a quantitative assessment of petroleum hydrocarbons <br />' in the soil at the site The soil samples selected for analysis were based on PID readings, <br /> field observations, and the objectives of the work scope Analytical results for the soil <br /> samples are summarized on Table 1 The laboratory data sheets and chain-of-custody form <br /> are included in Appendix D The soil samples were submitted for laboratory analysis to <br /> determine the presence and concentration of <br /> • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons by EPA Method 8015M/5030(Gasoline) <br /> • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons by EPA Method 8015M/LUFT (Diesel) <br /> • BTEX by <br /> EPA Method 8020 <br />' The soil sample obtained from Boring B-1 at a depth of 16 feet revealed concentrations of <br /> 1,600 mg/kg TPH-d and trace concentrations of 0 06 mg/kg of Ethyl Benzene and 0 28 <br /> mg/kg of Xylene <br /> Copyright 1994 Kleinfelder, Inc Page 9 of 11 <br />
