PHS/EHD has a contract <br /> with California State Water Resources Control Board to conduct an underground storage tank corrective action program. Section <br /> 25297 of the Health and Safety Code provides us the authority to require an investigation and cleanup of unauthorized releases. <br /> The above referenced site was placed in the Local Oversight Program (LOP) an May of 1994. <br /> PHS/EHD provided oversight during overexcavation of contaminated soil that was removed from the former tank/piping location. <br /> The excavated soil was removed off site for treatment and the excavation backflled with clean material. A closure letter was <br /> issued for this site on May 25, 1995. <br /> E� <br /> ;i <br /> PHS/EHD has reviewed your file to determine if you are in compliance in regards to permitting and corrective action orders and <br /> directives.
