Additional
groundwater investigation will be necessary to define the extent of groundwater contamination which resulted
from the former underground storage tank. Since MWI reportedly is dry,a minimum of two additional
monitoring wells will be required to define the site specific groundwater„gradient direction. As stated in
PHS/EHD correspondence dated March 2,1993,additional soil investigationl, and remediation will be necessary.
j
EI Please submit a work plan to continue the groundwater and soil investigation necessary to define the extent
of contamination by August 23, 1993.
