1 <br /> IE No Further Action Request (NEAR) <br /> STOCKTON WAREHOUSING AND INDUSTRIAL CENTER, LLC <br /> I 4696 East Waterloo Road (Formerly 4648 East Waterloo Road), Stockton, CA <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION 11 <br /> At the request of Mr. Jonathan Marlowe of Stockton Warehousing and Industrial Center, <br /> LLC(SWIC),Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE)has prepared this No FurtherAction <br /> Request (NEAR) summarizing all field activities conducted at 4696 East Waterloo Road <br /> (formerly 4648 East Waterloo Road), Stockton, California (site). Based on the results of <br /> subsurface investigations and soil remediation of the'junderground storage tank (UST) <br /> area at the site, it is AGE's opinion that no further investigative or corrective action be <br /> required for this facility. The site setting is illustrated in Figure 1. The former underground <br /> storage tank area, site buildings, soil boring locations, and existing monitoring well <br /> locations are depicted in Figure 2. 'i <br /> This NFAR has been prepared in accordance with the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (RWQCB) - Central Valley Region guideline's (Tri-Regional Board Staff <br /> Recommendations For Preliminary Investigations and IlEvaluation of Underground lank <br /> Sites) for No Further Action Requests (Appendix A). <br /> r <br /> ` <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> SWIC is located on the south side of Waterloo Road, !least of Highway 99, and <br /> approximately 250 feet west of the intersection of Waterloo Road and Cherryland Avenue <br /> in Stockton, California (Figure 1). The site is further located i'n Section 53 of Township 2 <br /> North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (Stockton East Quadrangle, 7.5- <br /> Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1968, photo revised 1987)in a topographically flat area <br /> at an elevation between 30 and 35 feet above the North kmerican Vertical Datum 88 <br /> (NAVD88). The San Joaquin County Tax Assessor's Office lists the site's boundaries as <br /> Parcel 32 on Map 21 in Book 101 (APN 101-021-32). ! <br /> � G <br /> f The property is currently owned by SWIC, LLC. Based�on information obtained from the <br /> San Joaquin County Assessor's office, SWIC, LLC is the only listed title fee owners. <br /> Various tenants have occupied the property over the years. While operating as a plumbing <br /> company and sheet metal company, SWIC, LLC previously utilized one 550-gallon <br /> { gasoline UST (Figure 2); the USTs were removed frodithe site in January 1988. <br /> 1 <br /> ` Currently, the site at 4696 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, �perates as TMP Services, <br /> { Modular Ramps. A large warehouse, a small office building, two fenced storage yards and <br /> a parking/delivery area are present on the site. The site is located in a rural/industrial area <br /> of Stockton, California. No public supply wells are located on1lithe property. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
