INTRODUCTION/SCOPE OF WORK <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr Jonathan Marlowe,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) <br /> has performed quarterly ground water monitoring procedures at 4648 Waterloo Road in Stockton, <br /> Cahforma (the site) This report details monitoring and sampling activities performed at the site in <br /> October 1995, and presents the results of laboratory analyses The location of the site is illustrated <br /> on Figure 1 -Location Map A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2 - Site Plan <br /> The monitoring and sampling was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services - Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) and Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (RWQCB) guidelines <br />' <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 21 SITE LOCATION <br /> The site area is located on the south side of Waterloo Road, east of Highway 99, in a flat <br /> ruraUsndustnal area east of Stockton, California (Figure 1) The site is further described as being <br /> located in Section 53, Township 2 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian <br /> (MMB&M) A large warehouse, a small office building, two fenced storage yards and a <br /> parking/delivery area are present on the site (Figure 2) <br /> 2 2 PREVIOUS WORK <br /> In January 1988, one 550-gallon waste gasoline underground storage tank (UST) was removed from <br /> the site Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline(TPH-g)was detected beneath the UST <br /> A ground water monitoring well (MW-1) was subsequently installed southwest of the former UST <br /> location TPH-g was detected in both soil and ground water samples collected from MW-1 Due to <br /> decreasing water table, this well became dry <br />' In December 1992, a second ground water monitonng well (MW-2)was installed to replace MW-1 <br /> Petroleum hydrocarbons were not detected in soil samples collected during the construction of MW- <br /> 2, however, benzene and several compounds of halogenated volatile organics (HVO) were detected <br />' in a ground water sample collected in January of 1993 from this well MW-2 Monitoring well MW-2 <br /> iy was sampled again in April of 1993 and slight increases in these constituents were reported <br /> Two additional monitoring wells (MW-3 and MW-4) were installed at the site on 29 and 30 <br /> 1 <br />
