1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the direction of Mr Jonathan Marlowe of Marlowe Properties, the <br /> TreaTek-CRA Company (TreaTek) has prepared this quarterly report of the <br /> groundwater sampling activities at 4696 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California <br /> (formerly 4648 East Waterloo Road) This report describes the sampling activities <br /> and presents the results of the laboratory analyses <br /> 2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> 21 Site Location <br />' The site is located in a flat industrial area east of Stockton, California <br />' (Figure 1) A large warehouse (currently unoccupied), a small vacant office <br /> building, two fenced storage yards and a parking/delivery area are present on the <br /> site (Figure 2) <br /> 22 Previous Work <br /> Field activities were initiated at the site in January 1988 with the removal of <br /> a 500 gallon underground storage tank (UST) containing regular leaded gasoline <br /> Since the removal of the UST, approximately 45 cu yds of soil have been <br /> removed from the former tank location and aerated on-site Two soil boreholes <br />' (one converted to a groundwater monitoring well) were installed and three <br /> additional groundwater monitoring wells and one remedial well have been installed <br /> at the site <br /> These previous site activities were performed by the following consultants <br /> to Marlowe Properties 1) RAMCON, 2) Applied Geosystems and 3) Geological <br /> Audit Services, Inc Specific details of previous field activities can be found in the <br /> site investigation reports prepared by the above mentioned consultants <br /> f <br />
