Based on the field and laboratory data, we conclude that there is no potential Impact on
groundwater currently or anticipated when groundwater level regain It's historic levels at this site.Based on
water solubility parameters for STME constituents,it groundwaterwas to Interact with the slight contaminated
soil, groundwater contamination would be significant lower than the Maximum Contaminate Leval (MCL)
Regulatory Threshold,per Title 22,Division 4,Section 644.5,Artlele 5.5.
VI. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of this Investigation the following recommendations are made, subject to concurrence
ar;he San Joaquin County Public Health Department,Environmental Health Division.
• Soil cuttings and rinsate water from the drlllim, operation, presently stored on site should be
considered non-hazardous materials based on the lack of hydrocarbon contarnfnatlon. Based
on the laboratory analysis,we conclude that stored soils can be disposed at any Class III landfill,
wlth prior approval.
• The client is required per Underground Storage Tank Regulations, Title 23, Chapter 2,
Subchapter 16,Article 7,Section 2762,subparagraph c,to provide a notice In the deed to the
property upon completion of tank closure. The notice shall describe the exact vertical and aerial
location of the closed underground tank, the hazardous substance it contained, and the closure
method.
• This Investigatlon and conclusions drawn from acquired data has demonstrated that the
removed underground gasoline tank subject to final closure has not Impacted groundwater,
and/or to adjacent properties resultant from hazardous contamination.
• We do not antic€pate the need for further soil investigations based on our findings and that client
fulfillment of requirements for final site closure as outlined In the Underground Storage Tank
Regulations,Title 23, Chapter 2,Subchapter 16,Article 7, Section 2762, subparagraphs c,d,
and e.,have been met.
