f <br /> k <br /> Harding Lawson Associates <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This report, presents the results of a soil and groundwater <br /> investigation conducted by Harding Lawson Associates (HLA) at the <br /> Cozad Trailers facility in Stockton, California. The purpose of <br /> our investigation was to evaluate whether groundwater has been <br /> impacted by the release of petroleum hydrocarbons from the former <br /> underground fuel storage tanks located at 4907 East Waterloo Road <br /> in Stockton, California. This work was conducted in accordance <br /> 3 , <br /> With the Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary <br /> i <br /> f+y <br /> Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Fuel Tank Sites dated i <br /> August lo, 1990 and the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> zw Services, Environmental Health Division (EHD) Guidelines. HLAs <br /> work plan, dated June 14, 1991, was reviewed and accepted by the <br /> EHD. <br /> Our scope of services included: <br /> 1. Review regulatory agency files; <br /> -- 2. Preparing the June 14 work plan; <br /> 3. Locating on-site utilities near our drilling locations; <br /> i <br /> 4. Installing three monitoring wells; <br /> 5. Purging and sampling the wells on three occasions; <br /> 6• Performing chemical analyses of soil and groundwater <br /> samples; and <br /> 7. Preparing this report. <br /> 1 <br />
