i.
The groundwater sample collected from MW-1 only contained 0.7 µg11 of MTBE, the sample
collected from MW-2 only contained 0.6 of MTBE, and the sample collected from MW-3 only
contained 0.6 of MTBE. The groundwater sample analytical results are summarized in Table 2,
the distribution of gasoline in groundwater is shown on Figure 5,, and the laboratory reports are
included in Appendix C.
I
Between June 30, and August 28, 2008, the concentration of gasoline compounds in
groundwater remained relatively consistent. Concentrations ofi;gasoline compounds in
- groundwater at MW-1 have declined significantly, since the monitoring wells were installed in
July 2002, probably due to source removal efforts and natural attenuation processes.
t
2.3 Wastewater Disposal I
On September 19, 2008, Doulos Environmental, Inc. (Doulos) transported approximately 42
gallons of groundwater, accumulated from sampling activities as nonhazardous waste, to
InStrat, Inc. in Rio Vista, California. InStrat treated the wastewater with granular activated
carbon and disposed of it according to their waste discharge permit. A copy of the non-
hazardous water transport form is included as Appendix D. k
i - I
I i
J .
i
i II
3
9
