The Project Manager is also responsible for <br /> ensuring that the provisions of the Health and Safety Plan(HSP) are carried out. This includes <br /> i ensuring that all field personnel have received adequate training, that an adequate supply of <br /> safety and emergency equipment is available. <br /> Designated Site Safety Officers: Joseph Ramage i' t - Date: d-Z210C <br /> The Site Safety Officer (SSO) is responsible for implementing the!site health and safety plan. <br /> This includes ensuring that field personnel have read and signed the HSP, and that a Tailgate ; <br /> Safety Meeting is conducted on site each day prior to initiating field activities. In addition,the <br /> SSO will be responsible for auditing the site operations for campli'ance with the health and safety <br /> plan and any applicable federal, state or local requirements. ,The S.SO is required to be on site at <br /> ' <br /> all times. In the SSO's absence, a designated alternate will assume the duties and <br /> responsibilities. <br /> Work Objectives/Scope: Conduct soil and groundwater investigation related to a farmer <br /> underground storage tank(UST). For this investigation, soil and groundwater grab samples will <br /> be collected from three (3) soil borings using a Geoprobe 5400 Direct Penetration Technology <br /> (DPT) rig. <br /> s. <br />
