r. f <br /> Chronology <br /> Jay's Mini Mart <br /> 3302 West Lane, Stockton <br /> 11/21/97 Three gasoline underground storage tanks (UST$) were removed under the <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) permit and inspection on this date. <br /> Odor and discoloration of the soil at the north end of the UST excavation were <br /> -noted by the EHD staff. Soil samples collectedi'at 17 feet in this area of the <br /> excavation were analyzed and confirmed the soil was contaminated. <br /> 11/26/97 Excavation of contaminated soil from the north end of UST excavation occurred <br /> on this date. <br /> 03/20/98 Date of Underground Storage Tank Removal Report that discusses removal, <br /> excavation and has soil sample analytical results. MTBE was found in the soil <br /> samples beneath two of the dispensers. New USTs were placed in the same <br /> location. <br /> 02/08/99 An Unauthorized Release Report and a Notification cation of Hazardous Waste t <br /> Discharge were filed on this date. The site was''also placed in the Local j <br /> Oversight Program. <br /> 02/10/99 The EHD received receipts for disposal of soil at Forward Landfill on this date. <br /> About 468 yards were disposed but only about 100 yards were from excavation <br /> of contaminated soil on 11/26/97. <br /> I <br /> 09/07/00 Soil boring 131 was completed to a depth of 50 near the dispenser area on this <br /> date. Soil samples and a groundwater sample were collected. <br /> 09/20/00 Date of Environmental Assessment that discusses the results from B1 (MTBE <br /> was found at 10 micrograms per liter in the water sample). <br /> 5/22-23/03 Soil borings B2 through B4 were completed during this time. <br /> 06/27/03 Date of Additional Assessment Report that discusses the May 2003 work. Low <br /> levels of soil and groundwater contamination we're evidenced including 1.2 DCA. <br /> 1/12-13/04 Monitoring wells MW1 through MW3 (screened from 45 to 65 feet) were installed <br /> during this time. <br /> 06/24/04 Date of Summary Report of Subsurface Investigation that discusses the January <br /> i 2004 work. Soil and groundwater samples were'non-detect. <br /> 5/22-24/06 Geoprobe borings AS81 through ASB6 were performed during this time. <br /> 07/06/07 Date of Subsurface Investigation Report that discusses the May 2006 work. <br /> 07/28/08 Date of Site Closure Report recommending closure of the site. <br /> 10/01/08 Date of EHD letter requesting additional site informatiori and revisions to the <br /> 7/28/08 report. <br /> 11/12/09 Date of Supplement to Site Closure Report that rovideSr additional information <br /> and recommends closure of the site. <br />
