ATC proposes to advance six soil borings onsite as follows: <br /> • One boring, advanced to total depth of approximately 60 feet below surface grade <br /> (bsg), will be located halfway between the former locations of the two southern <br /> dispenser islands for the purpose of eliminating soil data gaps; <br /> • One boring, advanced to total depth of approximately 60 feet bsg, will be located <br /> approximately 30 feet southeast and down gradient of soil boring SB3 for the <br /> purpose of investigating hydrocarbon contamination previously identified in soil <br /> and groundwater samples collected from SB3; <br /> • One boring, advanced to total depth of approximately 50 feet bsg, will be located <br /> approximately seven feet north/northwest of monitoring well MW-2 to eliminate <br /> soil data gaps above 50 feet bsg; <br /> • One boring, advanced to total depth of approximately 60 feet bsg, will be located <br /> approximately 35 feet south of the current eastern dispenser island to further <br /> investigate hydrocarbon contamination previously identified in soil and <br /> groundwater samples collected from soil borings S133 and S134; <br /> • One boring, advanced to total depth of approximately 60 feet bsg, will be located <br /> approximately ten feet west of the underground storage tanks (UST), and <br /> approximately 25 feet south/southeast of MW-3 to further investigate <br /> hydrocarbon contamination previously identified in soil samples collected from <br /> beneath the former USTs; and <br /> • One boring, advanced to total depth of approximately 60 feet bsg, will be located <br /> approximately five feet north of the northeast corner of the former/current USTs <br /> to further investigate hydrocarbon contamination down gradient of the source <br /> area. <br />
