We are <br /> forwarding you this report at the request of Ms. Diane M. <br /> Hinson of the Environmental Health Division of the San <br /> Joaquin Local Health District in Stockton, California. <br /> As we indicated to Diane, we are pleased with the re- <br /> sults of the report in that they show no contamination from <br /> the tank which was being studied. However, we are disturbed <br /> by the results of those monitoring wells which show high <br /> levels of hydrocarbons. We are disturbed because it does not <br /> appear that this contamination resulted from the Roek Broth- <br /> ers ' property. Once you have had an opportunity to evaluate <br /> the report, I would like to set up a meeting to discuss these <br /> issues as soon as possible. <br /> The property owner is in a difficult situation regarding <br /> this property. An option agreement on the property has been <br /> in place for a substantial amount of time and will expire on <br /> May 31 , 1989 . Unless the contamination issue is resolved <br />
