WILSON WAY; STOCKTON <br /> Please be advised that this office has reviewed the above referenced <br /> Workplan. We have found the plan to be adequate provided the <br /> following considerations are addressed: <br /> 1: Reference was made, during our June 23, 1988 meeting, to the <br /> existence of a monitoring well on the ARCO property. Documentation <br /> within the completed study should contain either a water sample <br /> analysis from this well, or evidence that the well was properly <br /> destroyed. <br /> 2: Enclosed is a diagram of construction standards for <br /> monitoring wells, and an application for permit for monitoring <br /> well/soil boring permit. The application for permit must be <br /> completed, remittance submitted, and signed by the licensed C-57 <br /> driller, or a designated representative of the licensed contractor. <br /> The selected drilling contractor must also have, on file with the <br /> SJLHD, proof of Worker's Compensation insurance with the State of <br /> California. <br /> 3: Elaborate on the field activities to describe the intervals <br /> and frequencies of the soil samples collected during drilling. <br /> Describe the type of method that will be used to develop the <br /> monitoring wells, and the number of samples that will be collected <br /> from each monitoring well, as well as the methods of analyses. <br /> 4. Soil cuttings and/or bailed waters from the drilling <br /> activities has not been addressed in the Workplan.
